A UCF alum, Ashley McFeeley ’23 joined UCF Athletics in July 2025 as a mental health counselor.
McFeeley has provided mental performance services to collegiate athletes and coaches through her independent consulting practice. Most recently, she worked as a mental performance coach for youth and high school athletes with IMG Academy+.
She grew up playing volleyball and riding horses and learned to play horse polo while studying at TCU for her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and psychology. McFeeley graduated from Florida State University with a master’s degree in sport psychology in 2021. She served as a student-athlete tutor at both institutions.
McFeeley then went on to earn a second master’s degree at the University of Central Florida in clinical mental health counseling. During her studies, she helped lead a strategic partnership between UCF’s Counselor Education program and the athletics department that developed comprehensive mental health group sessions.
McFeeley is certified as a mental health performance consultant and registered mental health counseling intern.
