Arturo Rivera, a UCF graduate, joined the Knights[apos] staff as an assistant coach in the Spring of 2012. Rivera, who brings over six years of coaching experience to his new position, served as a volunteer assistant with the Knights from 2008-09.

Prior to joining the UCF staff, Rivera worked at UNLV as an assistant coach, and also was the Runnin[apos] Rebels men[apos]s club head coach in the spring of 2011. Rivera, who earned his bachelor[apos]s degree from UCF in 2008, played professionally in the Netherlands from 2009-10 and was member of UCF[apos]s club team for three years. The Orlando native began his collegiate career at Ball State, where he competed on the NCAA Division I level with the Cardinals.
