April DiGiannantonio joined UCF Athletics in April 2023 and works with women’s soccer, softball, track and field, and cross country.
She arrived at Knight Nation from the University of Illinois Chicago and has over 10 years of experience in the private sector and college athletics. After completing her degree in exercise science, she sold her strength and conditioning facility in Denver, Colorado, to begin her collegiate career, gaining experience at programs including the University of Denver, Clemson University, and Texas A&M.
Prior to becoming a strength and conditioning coach, she attended culinary schools in New York and Italy and worked as a chef in northern California. DiGiannantonio has a master's degree from Colorado State University and a bachelor's in finance and entrepreneurship from Florida State University.
DiGiannantonio is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA, a Strength and Conditioning Certified Coach (SCCC) through the CSCCa, a USAW Level 1 Coach, and has the Track and Field Association Strength and Conditioning Certification. DiGiannantonio is also CPR/AED certified.
