Antonio Munoz

Antonio Munoz joined the UCF staff as an assistant athletic trainer in the summer of 2019. Munoz works primarily with the women's basketball program.

A 2015 graduate of UCF, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training, Munoz worked as a student athletic trainer with UCF football, men's basketball, women's soccer and tennis from 2013-15.

Prior to returning to UCF, he had been serving as an athletic trainer at Mississippi State University, working with the track and field/cross country program.

After graduation, Munoz moved onto graduate school at the University of Florida, where he spent time as a graduate assistant athletic trainer, working with a number of Gator programs, while assisting with the student athletic trainer program. Munoz earned his Master of Science degree in sport management from Florida in May of 2018.

Munoz is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Certified in American Red Cross CPR/AED as well as an instructor, and Certified integrative Dry Needling.
