Anais Placencia joined UCFAA in April 2022 and was promoted to senior academic success coach/learning specialist in the summer of 2023. She works closely with the football team.
While she was a Burnett Honors College student at UCF, she served as an academic mentor for student-athletes while simultaneously researching her own undergraduate thesis. Following graduation in 2021, she served as a first grade teacher for Orlando Science Elementary.
Placencia earned her bachelor’s degree as a first-generation college student in elementary education from UCF. As an Orlando native and Mexican-American, she is fluent in English and Spanish and also speaks Portuguese. She enjoys exercising and watching soccer.
