As a competitive athlete, Maddalena was searching for something to fill that void after her collegiate career. Her father suggested CrossFit. After her first workout she was hooked. Her favorite aspects of CrossFit are the Olympic Lifts, (she loves to move heavy weight), and gymnastics, movements like pull-ups, handstand push-ups/walks, muscle ups, and rope climbs. Maddalena competes in CrossFit Competitions, and has been on the podium several times.
Maddalena holds CSCS certification (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) from the NSCA. She is also certified as a TPI Level 1 Golf Fitness Instructor.
