Alec Beatty joined UCF in August 2021 as a staff assistant for facilities and event management. In his role, he is the game administrator for women’s soccer, cross country, and track and field events.
He came to Orlando after earning his Master of Education in intercollegiate athletic leadership from the University of Washington in June 2021. While in Seattle, he served as a graduate assistant for the Huskies’ sports operations department, where he was the assistant tournament director for the 2020-21 Pac-12 Cross Country Championship and the 2020-21 NCAA Men’s Golf Regional in Cle Elum, Washington.
Beatty is from Topeka, Kansas. He went to school at Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota, where he majored in political science and played football. After Macalester, he earned a Fulbright Grant to teach English in Kosovo for the 2019-20 school year.
