Aleaha Evans '17 joined the UCF staff in the fall of 2019 as an athletic trainer working with the softball team. She was promoted to senior associate athletic trainer in July 2024. She also has experience providing care for the spirit team.
Evans came to UCF after spending three seasons as the head athletic trainer for the USSSA Pride softball team in Viera, Florida, in the National Professional Fastpitch (NPF) league. Evans earned a Master of Science in athletic training from Texas State University in 2019 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in athletic training from UCF in 2017. As an undergraduate student at UCF, Evans worked with women’s soccer, football, men’s and women’s basketball.
Evans is a licensed athletic trainer, a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, and an American Red Cross CPR/AED certified professional rescuer and health care provider. While at UCF, Evans also gained certification in integrative dry needling.
