Aiden Kocol joined the UCF Athletics strategic communications team in July 2025 as a staff assistant. In her role, she will lead the media relations and publicity efforts for the cross country/track and field and women’s tennis programs, along with serving as the secondary contact for men’s basketball.
Before her appointment on staff, Kocol served as an intern for the 2024-25 athletics season. While working with multiple teams on campus, she specifically took a large role with UCF volleyball and men's and women’s basketball. On game days, she ran social media accounts and assisted in statistical operations for each team while working with the SID to promote each squad with detailed bios and stories on the website.
During the first and second rounds of the 2025 NCAA DI men’s tennis tournament, Kocol worked alongside the site representative to ensure that attending media and coaches were provided with adequate support throughout the weekend.
Before arriving in Orlando, Kocol graduated from Clear Creek High School outside of Denver, Colorado. She is currently earning a bachelor’s degree from UCF in advertising/public relations and plans to graduate in May 2026.
