Prior to UCF...Ranked third in the Under-18 category in 2003...won the bronze medal in singles and gold in doubles at the 2003 National Juvenile Games...ranked No. 2 in Under-16 category during 2001...top-ranked player in Under-14 category and earned two national championships during 1999...took the championship in the 1998 Venezuelan Masters Tournament...represented Venezuela for four years in the South American Tournament.

Born Viviana Yrureta on Sept. 23, 1985 in Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela...parents are Ricardo Yrureta and Rebeca Oxford...has a brother, Ricardo and a sister, Rebeca...began playing tennis at age six thanks to her sister[apos]s encouragement...says her forehand is her strength on the court...plans to major in marketing.
