Fall 2009: The team[apos]s lone senior, played in all four events...Went 2-1 in the match play portion of the Hooters Collegiate Match Play Championship, winning each of the final two holes of her match to give UCF a 3-2 team win over Colorado...Was UCF[apos]s top finisher and tied for third overall at the Bettie Lou Evans Fall Invitational with a 145, including a career-low 72 in the opening round...It was her first career top-five finish and her first time topping the Knights since the 2007 UCF Challenge and she was named the Bright House UCF Student-Athlete of the Week.
2008-09: Played in seven tournaments for UCF including each of the last six...Helped UCF to a best-ever second-place finish at the C-USA Championship by finishing 10th overall and second for the Knights...Shot an opening-round 73 at the C-USAs...Was third from UCF at both the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational and the Ping ASU Women[apos]s Golf Invitational.
2007-08: Played in four events for the Knights as a sophomore...Finished tied for 61st at the UA-Ann Rhoads Intercollegiate after carding her season-best score of 74 (+2) in the second round...Also competed in the opening three events of the spring season for the team...Carded a 76 (+4) in the third round of the Lady Puerto Rico Classic...During the summer, captured the Slovak International Amateur Championship by 10 strokes after carding an even-par round of 71 on the final day.
2006-07: Finished the Florida State Championship in a tie for 13th place...Competed in the Liz Murphy Invitational and tied for 40th place in the Gator Invitational...Played as an individual in the UCF Challenge finishing in a tie for 36th place, the top finish for UCF...Competed in the Lady Puerto Rico Classic finishing in a tie for 61st place...Was in UCF[apos]s lineup during all four fall events, averaging 80.09 per round...Tied for 44th at the Wildcat Invitational and notched a one-over 73 in the opening round of the Lady Pirate Invitational en route to a tie for 24th...Placed in a tie for 80th at the Auburn Derby.
Prior to UCF: Tomko graduated from Bradenton Academy Prep in Bradenton, Fla., while training at the IMG Academy...An established junior player and was a member of the Belgian National Team...Finished runner-up at the 2006 Doral-Publix Championship and runner-up at the Teens of the Greens World Championship...Registered more than a dozen top-five tournament finishes during junior competition...At the age of 11, had the opportunity to play with Bernhard Langer and Seve Ballesteros as a result of winning a short game contest in Belgium.
Personal: Tomko was born in Herrenberg, Germany, and is the daughter of Michal and Marianna Cmelik Tomko...Pursuing a degree in interpersonal-organizational communication.
