Mackenzie Kennedy ’22MS joined UCF Athletics sports medicine staff in June 2021. After providing autonomous healthcare for two years for the rowing team and assisting the UCF football team, she took over healthcare for the women’s basketball in the summer of 2023.
Prior to arriving at UCF, Kennedy interned with the men’s basketball and football teams at Boston College before spending a year at St. Johns Preparatory School as the associate head athletic trainer.
Kennedy earned a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Endicott College in Massachusetts before earning a master’s degree from UCF in kinesiology in 2022. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association.
