The UCF softball team added Kelsi Jeffries to its staff as a student manger in August of 2021. She assists by catching bullpens and supporting the staff with what is needed.
Kelsi was an assistant coach at Clearwater High School for one season accepting the role in September 2020. She mostly worked with the infield/catchers and helped with hitting. Prior to coaching, Jeffries was a student-athlete at the State College of Florida.
Kelsi, a 2019 graduate from Tarpon Springs High School, played softball at the State College of Florida from 2019-2020. Due to COVID-19, her season was cut short, but not before she sustained a shoulder injury that would soon end her career.
Kelsi will graduate with her bachelor’s degree in psychology and will graduate in the Spring of 2023.
