Was a four-sport athlete at West High School in Waterloo, Iowa, where she participated in softball, volleyball, basketball and was a member of the swimming team
As a freshman, was named all-metro, all-conference and all-district following her lone season on the softball field
Following her rookie campaign, played for the Minnesota Irish Gold travel team
On the basketball court she was a member of the all-metro honorable mention squads in her freshman and sophomore seasons and was an all-metro first-team pick and all-conference honorable mention selection as a junior
Member of the SAAC Committee, Student Senate and was her class Valedictorian
