- Was a four-year letterwinner in softball and a two-year letterwinner in soccer at Trinity Catholic High School
- Led Marion County with 240 strikeouts in 127 innings pitched as a freshman
- Earned team MVP honors as a freshman
- Led Marion county with a 0.59 ERA as a junior
- Was named first team all-county as a freshman, junior, and senior
- Scored 40 runs, stole 26 bases, knocked in 18 runs as a senior
- Struck out 176 in 102 innings while posting a 0.98 ERA as a senior
- Named a Florida Athletic Coaches Association all-star as a senior
- Played travel ball for the Tampa Mustangs who finished 6th at the 2011 ASA Gold Nationals
- Played softball for head coach Jeff Schwietert
