Michael Dorff enters his second season as the volunteer coach for UCF, where he continues to work with the varsity fours.
In his first season with the Knights, he guided the varsity four to multiple wins including a victory over Stanford at the Lake Natoma Invite and a third place finish in the varsity four Petite Final at the South/Central Regional Championships.
As an undergraduate at Georgetown University, Dorff rowed for the nationally ranked Georgetown Lightweights. He competed in the Eastern Sprints League and represented Georgetown at the IRA National Championships. Michael graduated from Georgetown in spring 2007 with a bachelor[apos]s degree in History.
From 1999 to 2003, Dorff rowed for Edgewater High School where he stroked the varsity eight for two seasons and was named co-captain for the 2002-2003 season.
