Raquel Rojas Season 2006-07

2006-07: Rowed with the lightweight squad...won the lightweight eight at the Head of the Hooch during the fall...opened the spring by capturing the varsity eight title at the Metro Cup...finished third in the second varsity four event at the Rollins Spring Break Race...took second in the lightweight four at the Petrakis Cup.
2005-06: Rowed third seat in the lightweight eight boat that took top honors in the novice 'B' at the FIRA Fall Race...won the novice lightweight four at the FIRA Championship.
Prior to UCF: Graduated from Orlando Lutheran Academy in 2003...a four-sport athlete...earned all-conference honors in track and field her final three seasons...selected all-conference in volleyball and basketball...also played softball.
Personal: Born in Lorain, Ohio...daughter of Roberto and Irma Rojas...sister Rebecca ran cross country and track at UCF...major is liberal studies.
