2008-09: Rowed with the novice team...took home first-place honors in the varsity 8+ event and finished third in the first varsity 4+ event at the Metro Cup...defeated Wisconsin, Iowa, Kansas State and Texas in the novice 8+ boat at the Longhorn Invitational...defeated Duke in the UCF Regatta...raced against Virginia in the Virginia Invitational...came in first against California, Sacramento State and Texas at Lake Natoma Invitational...took home third place against Virginia, Wisconsin, Michigan, Duke and Oklahoma in the finals at South/Central Regional Championships
Prior to UCF: Graduated from Oviedo High School in 2008...involved with National Honor Society, Beta Club, Student Advisory Council, Student Government Association, Epsilon Nu Gamma, Mu Alpha Theta and Sigma Alpha Omega...picked up two letters in track and field for coach Alice Roseum and one letter in cross country for coach Scott Wasusnen.
