"We felt extremely honored when a player of Jakob's ability and someone with his resume reached out to us and expressed his interest in coming to play for UCF," said Wallor. "Not only was Jakob the 2022 NAIA Individual National Champion, but he also won the prestigious Jack Nicklaus National Player of the Year Award in that same year. In 2022, Jakob was also a part of a team that won the NAIA National Team Championship, when you couple that with winning golf tournaments on the junior and amateur level in his home country of Norway, we feel this bodes very well for the depth of his playing ability. We are excited to have Jakob join our golf program this fall."
