Michael Callahan

Michael T. Callahan serves as the coach of the UCF mascots, also known as Team Knightro. A native of Massachusetts, Callahan came to UCF in 2001 as an undergrad and spent two years as a member of Team Knightro. During that time, he competed in the UCA Mascot National Championship and finished in the top 10 each of those years. Callahan became the coach in 2005 and has helped grow the program to what it is today. Callahan holds a Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems, a Masters in Business Administration and a doctorate in Higher Education Leadership. He also works as the Director of Information Systems at the UCF Burnett Honors College. He and his wife Lauren (also a UCF Alumn have 3 young sons).   When not working at UCF Callahan spend time with his family, working on house projects, and traveling.
