Wichael joined the UCF sports medicine team in September 2015. He currently serves as the athletic trainer for the baseball program.
Prior to coming to Orlando, Wichael spent 2014 at Florida where he worked with the National Champion softball team and SEC East Champion baseball team.
He earned his bachelor's degree in athletic training from Cedarville University in 2011. He worked with the men's basketball team and served as an intern at near by Wittenberg University.
As a part of obtaining his master's degree in exercise science and human performance from Delta State in 2013, Wichael served two years as a graduate assistant, covering baseball and men's basketball and helping the Statesmen earn a trip to the Division II College World Series in 2012.
Wichael is an ATC and is a Florida licensed athletic trainer. He has also obtained his Corrective Exercise Specialist certification and is Graston certified.
He resides in Orlando and enjoys fishing, sports and spending time with his wife Amye-Marie.
