After serving two years as the director of operations, Andy Chriscaden finished his first seaons as the volunteer assistant coach at UCF in 2016. He was in charge of the Knights’ outfielders and coached first base during games, while aiding the development of the team’s infielders and catches along with hitting responsibilities.
Chiscaden spent the 2014 and 2015 campaigns overseeing UCF’s day-to-day operations, which included all aspects of team travel. He additionally helped with capturing video and organizing the UCF Diamond Girls for home games.
The Monroe, Wash., native arrived in Orlando after wrapping up a decorated career at Kennesaw State and Skagit Valley Community College. Primarily seeing action at first base, Chriscaden earned back-to-back spots on the All-Atlantic Sun Second Team after his junior and senior seasons.
Prior to a brief professional stint with the Windy City Thunderbolts, Chriscaden ended his two-year career in a Owls uniform with a .323 batting average, 29 home runs and 134 RBI.
Chriscaden graduated from Kennesaw in 2012 with a degree in Health and Exercise Science.
