2009 (Sophomore): Collected one win and 23 strikeouts in 25.0 innings...Posted a 12.60 ERA in 14 appearances and three starts...Struck out four in 3.0 innings of work vs. VCU (Feb. 21)...Fanned three in 1.2 innings at FIU (March 4)...Received first collegiate start at USF (March 10), going 5.0 solid innings with just four hits against and five strikeouts...Earned a strikeout in a scoreless inning vs. Florida (March 18)...Struck out one in a scoreless inning vs. UNF (April 1)...Brilliant at UNF (April 7), entering in the second and went on to pitch 6.0 innings without an earned run and four strikeouts for the win...Worked 2.0 scoreless innings without a walk and had three strikeouts vs. Stetson (May 6).
2008 (Freshman): Earned a spot on the C-USA Commissioner[apos]s Academic Honor Roll...Came out of the pen 14 times as a freshman, notching a 1-1 record with a 5.33 ERA and one save...Surrendered only five extra-base hits while sitting down 28 on strikes in 27.0 innings...Made collegiate debut vs. FAMU (Feb. 22), going 2.1 innings with two strikeouts and only one run against...Tossed 2.0 scoreless innings at JU (March 5), which included inducing his older brother Matt to line into an inning-ending double play in the eighth...Tallied first collegiate win by pitching the 14th, 15th and 16th innings without giving up a run and striking out seven vs. Monmouth (March 9)...Struck out three in 1.1 innings against Siena (March 15 G1)...Sat down six on strikes and did not walk a batter in 3.0 innings vs. Wagner (March 18)...Notched first collegiate save by working the final 3.1 innings with a strikeouts at Southern Miss (March 22)...Racked up three strikeouts in 2.2 scoreless innings vs. FGCU (April 2)...Allowed one earned run with two strikeouts in 2.0 innings vs. Memphis (April 12)...Did not give up a run in 0.2 innings vs. UAB (May 9).
High School: Lettered three years for coach Mike Smith at Lake Brantley High School...Went 4-0 with a 1.91 ERA as a senior...During junior season, was 7-0 with a 1.27 ERA and hit over .400 at the dish...Had a save and a 3-0 record as a sophomore...Rated as the No. 114 top prospect in the country by Perfect Game USA in 2005...Also played three seasons for the Lake Brantley football team, where it was the 6A state runner-up in 2007 and the district champions in 2006...Spent time with the Orlando Scorpions amateur club, which won the BCS 17U National Championship.
