• Received ABCA Rawlings Pacific Division  All-American and All-Region honors as a sophomore
• Threw 74 innings with 107 strikeouts and a 1.7 ERA as a senior at Decatur High School
• Awarded with First Team All-State and First Team All-Conference nods after senior season
• Played on the varsity golf team during freshman and sophomore years.
