2020 UCF Football Student Ticketing

2020 UCF Football Student Ticketing Header

UCF Athletics in partnership with UCF Student Government is rolling out a new student ticketing system for entry into 2020 UCF Football home games to assist in our efforts to help protect your health and safety at the Bounce House stadium.

We have officially been approved to have 25% fan capacity* within the Knightmare student section in the Bounce House stadium to start the season. Our adjusted 2020 entry system will take on the form of a hybrid lottery where 1,500* current UCF students will be chosen to attend each game, with the opportunity to bring one other UCF student with them. This will ensure those who win the lottery have at least one other person to attend the game with. Students must fill out the form below BY THE END OF THE DAY ON SEPTEMBER 11 to be eligible to attend ANY home football games this year.

Once you commit to attend the game(s) you are chosen for each month, you will then need to claim your ticket between Sunday afternoon and the end of the day on Tuesday of each home game week. As always, you will need to bring your mobile ticket and UCF Student I.D. to enter Gates 6-9 on gameday. In accordance with campus mandate, all fans will be required to wear a face mask in the Bounce House stadium.

EXPLAINING THE NEW SYSTEM

BRIEF OVERVIEW

We have officially been approved to have 25% fan capacity* within the Knightmare student section in the Bounce House stadium this season. Our new entry system will take on the form of a hybrid lottery where 1,500* current UCF students will be chosen to attend each game, with the opportunity to bring one other UCF student with them.

SIGN UP FOR THE LOTTERY

All eligible UCF students who want to attend any home football games in 2020 will need to fill out this form by the end of the day on Friday, September 11. A lottery system will then randomly choose the students who will have the opportunity to bring one other UCF student to each game for which they are chosen to attend. It is important to remember that the number of students selected will be determined by stadium capacity limits, and may change throughout the season.

COMMIT TO CHOSEN GAMES

UCF Athletics will notify students which game(s) they are chosen for on a monthly basis (e.g., students will be notified in September for all home games in October). Then, each student will need to give us their commitment by filling out a form with their continued interest/ability to attend the upcoming home game(s), as well as the contact information for the additional UCF student they would like to bring to the game as their "plus one".

CLAIM YOUR TICKET

Starting on Sunday afternoon until the end of the day on Tuesday, everyone who committed to tickets for the next home game (including the "plus one" of the chosen student) will have the opportunity to claim their ticket at UCFStudentTix.com. Additionally, students will receive a text and/or e-mail reminder during game week. Any leftover inventory after the end of the day on Tuesday will be randomly assigned to other students who were not originally chosen by the lottery system. These tickets will be available to claim up to 24 hours before kickoff.

ENTRY INTO THE BOUNCE HOUSE

After students have claimed their ticket to each game, their mobile barcode will be delivered directly to their phone. Students are encouraged to save the mobile ticket to their Apple Wallet once it is received so as to avoid any connectivity issues at the stadium.

Unlike previous years, student lottery winners (and their "plus ones") will be able to arrive at the game(s) they are chosen for with a guaranteed spot inside the student section. There will be no need to arrive before gates open to stand in line.

Students will be required to enter through Gates 6-9 with the digital ticket on their phone and UCF Student I.D. REMEMBER: YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED INTO THE STADIUM WITHOUT BOTH YOUR MOBILE TICKET AND UCF STUDENT I.D.

*These details are fluid and may change throughout the season depending on factors outside of UCF Athletics' control. If any changes are made, they will be reflected on this page and communicated directly to all affected parties by email, social media, and more.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO SIGN UP FOR THE LOTTERY? All eligible UCF students who are interested in attending any home UCF Football games this season will need to fill out this form by the end of the day on Friday, September 11.
  • HOW WILL THE 1,500* STUDENTS BE CHOSEN FOR EACH GAME? A lottery system will randomly select all 1,500* students from the entire list of current eligible UCF students who fill out the sign-up form. (A portion of the spots will be randomly selected from the Knightmare Society membership before consulting the entire sign-up list).
  • WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR STUDENTS TO ENTER THE BOUNCE HOUSE? Unlike previous years, student lottery winners (and their "plus ones") will be able to arrive at the game(s) they are chosen for with a guaranteed spot inside the student section. There will be no need to arrive before gates open to stand in line. Students will be required to enter through Gates 6-9 with the digital ticket on their phone and UCF Student I.D.
  • ONCE I'M IN THE STADIUM, HOW DO MY FRIENDS AND I CHOOSE WHERE TO SIT? For the 2020 season, the Bounce House stadium has been divided into "zones" to keep up with social distancing measures as best as possible. The Knightmare student section will only be in the North Endzone (underneath the videoboard), but it has been expanded into more sections to account for the eliminated sections in the opposite endzone.

Students will be able to select a seat in any of the designated student sections (116-123 or 216-224) once inside the Bounce House stadium. Each section will be limited to 25% of its capacity (i.e., if a section typically fits 100 students we will only allow 25 this season). Gameday Staff will help monitor each section to cut off capacity, as well as to promote social distancing.

  • DO I HAVE TO REGISTER FOR TEXT NOTIFICATIONS? Although the text reminders are not a required step of the process, you will need to be registered with your UCF email address and cell phone number on UCFStudentTix.com in order to get the tickets delivered to your phone. Entry into the Bounce House stadium this year will only be allowed with digital tickets.
  • I AM A KNIGHTMARE SOCIETY MEMBER. WHAT BENEFITS DO I RECEIVE IN THIS NEW LOTTERY PROCESS? A portion of the 1,500* total students randomly chosen will come from the list of Knightmare Society members, essentially giving those students two chances to be chosen for every game. Please note that all Knightmare Society members will still need to fill out the sign-up form to be eligible for this benefit, just like all other UCF students.
  • WILL I NEED TO WEAR A FACE MASK IN THE STADIUM? Yes. In accordance with campus mandate, all fans will be required to wear a face mask in the Bounce House stadium.
  • WILL WE GO BACK TO THE PREVIOUS STUDENT PROCESS AND SECTIONS IN THE FUTURE? YES. This plan is for the 2020 season to ensure proper physical distancing throughout all aspects of gameday. In 2021 we plan to return to the previous student ticketing model and student sections in both endzones.
