ORLANDO – Joey Chestnut is bringing his appetite to UCF. Along with his 18 hot dog-eating contest titles and his 55 world records, the legendary competitive eater will be in attendance the second weekend of November as UCF men’s and women’s basketball host a doubleheader on Nov. 13 and football welcomes Arizona State Nov. 14. Knight Nation will have a chance to meet, greet and compete against the world-renown champion.

In addition to Chestnut visiting The City Beautiful for the weekend, the Knights will celebrate and honor military veterans and those who protect our nation with the return of “UCF Salutes.” Knight Nation can help bring veterans and service members to Acrisure Bounce House by contributing toward tickets for the Nov. 14 game and will have the opportunity to be recognized for their support. Through a partnership with VetTix, VA's and VFW's in Orlando, 100% of ticket contributions will be used to provide tickets to veterans and service members in our community. Packages start at $50; more details can be found here.

Plenty of fun, and key lime pie, will be had throughout the weekend.

The weekend begins with a Friday night hoops doubleheader as women’s basketball hosts LeMoyne at 5:30 p.m. and men’s basketball hosts Georgia Southern at 8 p.m. Fans have the opportunity to meet Chestnut pregame and secure game tickets with a VIP Meet and Greet ticket package.

Knight Nation will have the chance to compete against the world champ, as Chestnut will compete against five teams of two in a key lime pie eating competition before the UCF football game Nov. 14. Students will have a chance to eat their way into the competition at Friday night’s basketball game.

The teams will be separated into categories. Fans can buy a spot to compete against the 18-time Mustard Belt winner by clicking here. The rest of the teams will be composed of UCF students, influencers, local media personalities and notable UCF names.

The key lime pie competition will take place on the Corona Concert Series Stage on IOA Plaza between Knight Walk and March to Victory events; a time will be set once UCF’s kickoff time is announced by the Big 12 Conference and its television partners. A prize will be awarded to the winner of the competition.

All promotions are subject to change, and additional info will be provided once a gametime is announced.
