ESTERO - Men’s golf closed out the West Bay Collegiate Tuesday afternoon, finishing 2-over-par at the West Bay Club. The two day tournament featured a 6-under-par final round, while Camden Goldknopf secured his fourth consecutive top-20 finish.
The Knights opened Monday’s action with a 1-over-par (289) in the first round. Goldknopf paced the squad at 3-under-par, while Hans Risvaer stayed even with a 72.
Playing as an individual, Jakub Hejlek added to the early momentum with a 1-under-par in round one that included an eagle. Goldknopf and Risvaer followed with eagles of their own in the second round, giving the Knights three in the day. UCF finished the opening day 8-over-par.
The Black and Gold returned to the course Tuesday morning looking to close the tournament on a high note. The Knights delivered, carding a 6-under-par 282 in the final round.
Goldknopf once again led the way, firing a 3-under-par to move into a tie for 19th and secure his fourth straight top-20 finish. Risvaer also finished under par, posting a 71 in the final round.
Zilin Gao closed his tournament with an even-par 72, finishing 4-over-par overall, while Brodie Cunningham climbed seven spots on the leaderboard in the final round to finish tied for 61st alongside Gao.
Henry Dao playing as an individual finished 1-under-par to move up three places on the leaderboard.
UCF finished the tournament at 2-over-par with a three-round score of 866 landing in 12th place.

The Knights finish out their fall campaign for a three day tournament in Salt Lake City, Utah competing in Big 12 matchplay starting Monday Oct. 12 and concluding Wednesday Oct. 14.
