ORLANDO - Men’s golf closes out its fall campaign at Big 12 Match Play in Salt Lake City, Utah. The three-day tournament begins Monday, Oct. 12, at The Country Club, with competition starting at 8 a.m. each day and concluding Wednesday, Oct. 14.

The Knights return to action following a tournament highlighted by Camden Goldknopf’s fourth consecutive top-20 finish of the season.

UCF last competed in Big 12 Match Play two years ago, facing Oklahoma State, Kansas, Kansas State and West Virginia.

This season, the Black and Gold open play against Oklahoma State on Monday before taking on Cincinnati in the afternoon. The Knights will begin Tuesday against Arizona, followed by bracket play that afternoon. The tournament concludes Wednesday morning to determine the tournament champion.

The Knights will compete across three days in match play. Each team match consists of five individual matches, with one point awarded for each individual match victory. If an individual match remains tied after 18 holes, each team earns half a point. Once all five individual matches are complete, the team with the greater point total earns three team points, while the losing team receives zero. If the match ends in a tie, both teams earn one point.

All Knights facing the competition were coaches picks determined by the data points below:
