ORLANDO – After opening the season with back-to-back tournaments on the road, UCF men’s golf returns to Florida for the FAU Invitational, beginning Monday, Sept. 21, at the Bear’s Club in Jupiter.
The Knights will tee off at 8:30 a.m. Monday and compete in three rounds through Tuesday, Sept. 22. The Black and Gold will face a 12-team field featuring host Florida Atlantic, Florida, Old Dominion, USF, North Florida, Stetson, Louisiana Tech, Florida A&M, Lipscomb, DePaul and Campbell.
UCF enters the tournament coming off a 12th-place finish at the Bearcat Invitational in Cincinnati, where Camden Goldknopf earned his second consecutive top-five finish with a tie for fourth.
The FAU Invitational marks UCF’s third consecutive appearance at PGA National, where the Knights finished tied for 12th last season. With the season gaining momentum, UCF looks to continue its strong start against another competitive field in Palm Beach Gardens.
