IRVING, Texas – UCF women's soccer senior forward Naomi Clark has been named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on Wednesday after delivering a historic performance in the Knights' 3-1 victory over UAB last week.
Clark recorded the first hat trick of her collegiate career, scoring all three goals in UCF's win over the Blazers. Her three-goal outing marked the program's first hat trick since 2018, upping the Black and Gold’s record to a perfect 4-0-0 on the season.
The senior opened the scoring just 27 seconds into the match before adding two more goals in the second half—in the 71st and 79th minutes—to break a 1-1 tie and complete the milestone performance. With the trio of scores, Clark became the first Knight to etch her name into the program record book since Stefanie Sanders achieved the feat on Sept. 30, 2018.
With the trio of goals, Clark now leads the nation in both goals per game (1.50) and points per game (3.50) with an impressive tally of six goals through just four matches of play.
The conference weekly honor marked the first of the career for Clark and the first of the season for the Knights.

Clark also received honorable mention Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week accolades on Tuesday after recording her first career hat trick last week against the Blazers. The Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week honor marks the second of Clark’s career, as she previously earned the recognition last August while playing for Oklahoma.

The 13th-ranked Knights will hit the road for a pair of away matches this week. UCF will first travel to Miami to face in-state foe FIU on Thursday at 6 p.m. at FIU Soccer Stadium before heading to New England to face Brown of the Ivy League on Sunday at noon in Providence, Rhode Island.
