ORLANDO - Ahead of Gabe Lazo’s first season as head coach, the UCF women’s basketball team announced its Big 12 conference schedule Thursday afternoon in accordance with the league office, completing its full 2026-27 slate.
Conference play will open at Addition Financial Arena on Dec. 20 with a meeting against West Virginia before all conference schools go on a week-long break for the holidays. UCF will resume play on Dec. 30 at Cincinnati, before returning home to open the new year on Jan. 2 against Arizona State.
UCF’s first road trip of 2027 will take the team to Manhattan, Kansas, where they will face Kansas State on Jan. 6 and then to Boulder, Colorado, where they will take on the Buffaloes on Jan. 9.
Three home games in four will see the Black and Gold welcome the Bearcats for their second matchup of the season on Jan. 12, before a quick trip to Houston on Jan. 16 precedes a two-game homestand versus Arizona on Jan. 20 and Texas Tech on Jan. 23.
UCF will then venture to The Beehive State for the second time ever for matchups at BYU on Jan. 27 and Utah on Jan. 30. The final two-game homestand includes meetings with Oklahoma State on Feb. 4 and Baylor on Feb. 7.
A two-game swing on the road at Texas Tech on Feb. 13 and Kansas on Feb. 16 begins the final stretch, before matchups with Iowa State in Orlando on Feb. 20 and a road tilt at TCU on Feb. 23 leads into the regular-season finale against Houston on Feb. 27, marking the fourth-concsecutive season the Knights and Cougars have concluded the season opposite one another.
