ORLANDO – UCF men’s basketball will open Big 12 play at home for the second consecutive season, hosting Utah on Jan. 2, as announced by the conference office Thursday.
The Knights’ 18-game conference slate features home-and-home series against Baylor, Texas Tech and West Virginia. The matchup against the Mountaineers marks the third time in four seasons the programs will meet twice in the same campaign. UCF will face the remaining 12 conference opponents once, with six games at home and six on the road.
Following the home opener against Utah, the Knights will head west for a pair of road contests in the Grand Canyon State, facing Arizona on Jan. 6 before traveling to Tempe for a matchup against Arizona State on Jan. 9.
The Black and Gold return to Orlando to host Baylor on Jan. 13 before heading to Lawrence, Kansas, for a matchup against Kansas on Jan. 16.
UCF returns home for a two-game homestand against Colorado on Jan. 19 and Iowa State on Jan. 23. The Knights close out January on the road at Texas Tech on Jan. 30.
The Black and Gold begin February at Addition Financial Arena, hosting West Virginia on Feb. 3. UCF then heads to Waco, Texas, for a road matchup against Baylor on Feb. 6.
The Knights return home to welcome Houston on Feb. 10 before traveling to Cincinnati on Feb. 13. UCF then heads to Morgantown, West Virginia, for a rematch against the Mountaineers on Feb. 16.
The Black and Gold return to Orlando to host Texas Tech on Feb. 20 before heading back on the road for a matchup at Oklahoma State on Feb. 24. UCF closes out its home schedule with a two-game homestand against BYU on Feb. 27 and Kansas State on March 3.
The Knights conclude the regular season at TCU on March 6. The Big 12 Tournament will take place March 11-15 at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
Tip-off times and television assignments for the Big 12 schedule will be announced at a later date.
