ORLANDO - Riding the momentum of a top-five individual finish and a top-five team finish in its season opener, UCF men’s golf returns to action Monday at the Bearcat Invitational in Cincinnati.
The Knights will tee off at 9 a.m. Monday, September 14, at Coldstream Country Club, playing 36 holes across the opening two rounds before wrapping up the tournament with an 18-hole final round Tuesday, September 15.
The Bearcat Invitational marks UCF’s fourth consecutive appearance at the event, giving the Knights another opportunity to build on their early-season success. The par-71 Coldstream Country Club will challenge the field across 7,279 yards.
UCF will face a 17-team field that includes Arkansas-Little Rock, Augusta, Cincinnati, Furman, Iowa State, Kentucky, Liberty, Louisville, Maryland, Memphis, Minnesota, Nebraska, Sam Houston, Tennessee-Chattanooga, TCU and Xavier.
The Knights opened the 2026-27 season with a strong showing at the Island Resort Intercollegiate, tying for fourth at 12-under-par. Camden Goldknopf led the way, earning a fifth-place finish at 10-under (206) after carding three rounds under par. The performance marked the best finish of his collegiate career and gives the junior a strong start to the new season as he looks to carry that momentum into Cincinnati.
Brodie Cunningham also made his UCF debut at the Island Resort Intercollegiate, while Jakub Hejlek posted a 2-under-par performance in the second round.
