ORLANDO – The UCF men’s soccer team has announced the signing of incoming freshman forward Alex Naranjo to the program’s 2026 roster.
Naranjo, a native of Miami, Florida, brings extensive club experience to Orlando, most recently playing a two-year stint with the USL Championship’s Miami FC in 2025 and 2026. He appeared in 11 matches for his hometown squad over the last two seasons, and also saw time with Miami during the 2025 USL Jägermeister Cup.
Prior to his USL experience, Naranjo accrued more developmental experience with Athletum FC in the MLS Next platform in 2023, and also played on the 2022 Juventus Dybala U16 squad.
“I chose the program here at UCF for the great community around the program and the facilities we have access to here, and I really like the school’s rich history as well,” he said.
