IRVING, Texas – The Big 12 Conference announced its 2026-27 men's basketball scheduling matrix Thursday, outlining each league member's conference opponents and game locations for the upcoming season.

UCF will play an 18-game Big 12 schedule, featuring home-and-home series against Baylor, Texas Tech and West Virginia. The Knights will face the conference's remaining 12 opponents once, with six games at home and six on the road.

The home-and-home series with West Virginia marks the third time in four seasons the programs will meet twice on the hardwood during the same campaign.

UCF's home-only opponents are BYU, Colorado, Houston, Iowa State, Kansas State and Utah. The Knights will travel to Arizona, Arizona State, Cincinnati, Kansas, Oklahoma State and TCU for road-only matchups.

The Big 12 continues to rank among the nation's premier basketball conferences. Four league programs appear in ESPN's Way-Too-Early Top 25 rankings, led by Arizona at No. 10, followed by Houston at No. 16, Kansas at No. 23 and Iowa State at No. 24. The conference matched its record with eight NCAA Tournament selections in 2025, equaling the mark set in 2024. It also marked the fourth consecutive season the Big 12 placed at least seven teams in the NCAA Tournament.

The schedule matrix identifies opponents and locations for conference play but does not include dates or tipoff times. Opponents were selected to balance travel and competitive equity across the league. The complete 2026-27 Big 12 schedule will be announced at a later date.

The 2027 Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament is scheduled for March 11-15 at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
