GAINESVILLE, Ga. – The UCF rowing program has ended their 2026 campaign finishing with a team overall finish of 16th on Sunday Morning at Lake Lanier Olympic Park.
The Knights garnered a total of 48 points, just one behind the next closest in Columbia’s 49. UCF finished the weekend with all individual boats placing 15th.
Reserve order from two days prior, the Knights began the day with the First 4+ C Final. UCF crossed the line with a time of 06:59.03, following behind Oregon State and Michigan, while gaining a two second advantage over the next crew in Ohio State followed by Northeastern and Boston.
Next to take the water for their respective C final was the first crew of nine of the day in the Second 8+. Following suit, the Knights placed third, finishing with a time of 06:13.60 following only Rutgers and Columbia, the latter only winning with a .1 second advantage. Trailing behind the Black and Gold was Northeastern, Ohio State and Oregon State.
The final race of the day, the First 8+ finished the trio of UCF boats to finish third in their race. The Knights once again raced in the C Final, crossing the line at 06:01.87 behind Michigan and Columbia and ahead of Miami, Oregon State and Northeastern.
The Knights finish the season within the top-20, not dropping below the field of 20 in both the rankings and NCAA final results.
