ORLANDO - UCF women’s basketball has announced the eighth signing under the Gabe Lazo era, securing the signature of Robert Morris transfer Jennica Suggs to the new-look 2026-27 roster that will commence a new era for the program.
Suggs, who was a standout player at the Central Florida Christian Academy just 30 minutes from campus, suited up for the Colonials during her freshman and sophomore campaigns. The future Knight saw action in 40 combined games in the Horizon League program, averaging 2.2 points and 2.1 rebounds per game.
This past season, Suggs was a key player off the bench with Robert Morris, averaging 13.2 minutes per game across 13 contests. A versatile player, her three rebounds per game will complement Lazo’s intensity, which will be instilled throughout his first season in charge.
