ORLANDO – The UCF men’s basketball team announced the signing of forward Ladarius Givan from Petersburg High School on Tuesday.
Givan attends Petersburg H.S. (Petersburg, Va.). He is a native of Montgomery, Ala. The 6-foot-9 forward helped lead Petersburg to the VHSL Class 3 state championship this spring, marking the program’s first state title in 52 years.
During his senior season, Givan averaged 15.5 points and 12.1 rebounds per game while shooting better than 60% from the field and 72% from the free-throw line. He also connected on 11 three-pointers and shot 28% from beyond the arc.
Givan is rated as a four-star prospect by ESPN and a three-star prospect in the Rivals Industry Ranking. He is ranked among the top power forwards nationally and is considered one of the top overall prospects in the 2026 class.
