ORLANDO – The No. 11 rowing program is back in action as they travel to Lake Carnegie to race against No. 7 Princeton and No. 20 Penn on May 2 in New Jersey.

The one-day event will be the first time the Knights face-off against a top-10 team this season in the Princeton Tigers who were tabbed seventh in the latest CRCA poll. The Black and Gold last competed against the Quakers at the inaugural Orlando Invite last month.

The Knights are coming off a dominant performance at the Orlando Invite at the UCF Intercollegiate Rowing Center, winning the overall title with 48 points after a series of strong Grand Final performances. Following a solid showing from the Fourth 8+ in the morning’s lone B Final, the Knights surged through the A Final racing, with the Third 8+, First 4+, Second 8+ and First 8+ all claiming first-place finishes.

The Second 4+ earned the team’s only runner‑up result, finishing just behind No. 13 Alabama. UCF’s clutch win in the First 8+ sealed the championship, outpacing No. 14 Duke by nearly two seconds. Duke finished second overall with 36 points, followed by Miami (35), Alabama (33), Penn (25), Oklahoma (17), Clemson (13) and SMU (9).

The Black and Gold have yet to drop a regatta this season, claiming the top spot in all competitions this season in both duals and full events.

The Knights return to the Garden State for the first time since last year’s NCAA Championships, held in the same city. UCF made history the last time out in New Jersey, claiming a team finish of 15th at the championships, marking the highest in program history.

The one-by-2k race will finish off the regular season for the Knights with the only races following being the Big 12 Championship and NCAA Championships, if they earn the qualification.
