ORLANDO – After capturing their second consecutive Big 12 regular-season championship, the No. 20 UCF women’s tennis team has secured its 11th NCAA Tournament bid in program history.
The Knights will travel to Raleigh for their regional round matches, hosted by the tournament’s No. 8 national seed NC State. There, they will face Navy in the opening round, hoping to advance and take on the winners of the NC State vs. Morgan State match.
For the seventh time in head coach Bryan Koniecko’s 10-year tenure, the Knights will enter the NCAA Tournament field of 64, carrying a 23-4 record.
Prior to his arrival in 2016, the program had made just five NCAA Tournament appearances. Since taking over, Koniecko has already surpassed that mark, highlighted by three consecutive bids from 2021 to 2023.
