ORLANDO - Tiffany Roberts Sahaydak has signed a three-year contract extension that will keep her at the helm of UCF women’s soccer through the 2030 season, UCF Vice President and Director of Athletics Terry Mohajir announced today.
“Tiffany has done an outstanding job building our women’s soccer program and leading it with stability and continuity,” Mohajir said. “She is a tremendous ambassador for UCF and a proven leader who puts our student-athletes in position to succeed on and off the field. We’re excited to extend her leadership and continue building on that momentum following our return to the NCAA Tournament, as we compete at the highest level in the Big 12 and nationally.”
Roberts Sahaydak is coming off a standout 2025 campaign, producing the program’s most memorable season since joining the Big 12. The Knights secured their best-ever conference finish, earned the No. 6 seed in the Big 12 Tournament, and hosted an NCAA Tournament match for the first time since 2017, advancing to the second round with a 2-0 win over Maine.
“UCF is incredibly special to me and our family,” Roberts Sahaydak said. “Tim and I come to work every day with a deep sense of gratitude, knowing we have the opportunity to do something that truly fulfills us. We are challenged, supported, and pushed to be better here every day.
“I’m grateful that Terry Mohajir continues to show trust and belief in my leadership to empower young women to be their best in the classroom and on the field. I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished at UCF, and I’m even more motivated for what’s ahead as we continue to raise the standard and push this program to new heights.”
An Olympic gold medalist, World Cup champion, and two-time NCAA champion as a player, Roberts Sahaydak has continued her success as a coach, leading the Knights to six NCAA Tournament appearances and four conference championships during her tenure.
Since joining the program in 2013, Roberts Sahaydak has compiled a 133-65-37 record at UCF, contributing to a career mark of 186-115-56. Her win total ranks second in program history.
Over the past three seasons, nine Knights have earned Big 12 All-Conference honors, while seven players have collected Big 12 Player of the Week recognition. Five players have also received United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest Region honors.
During UCF’s time in the American Athletic Conference, Roberts Sahaydak led the Knights to four regular season championships (2013, 2014, 2017, 2022) and earned AAC Coaching Staff of the Year honors in each of those seasons. In 2014, she guided UCF to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen in just her second season.
Under Roberts Sahaydak, 51 players have advanced to professional soccer across more than 20 countries, including Olympian Sarai Linder, who earned bronze at the Paris 2024 Games. Seven former Knights were selected in the NWSL Draft prior to its discontinuation in 2025.
Beyond UCF, Roberts Sahaydak has served as a U.S. Soccer Sports Envoy since 2007, promoting the global impact of sport, and was part of President Barack Obama’s delegation to the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. She has also contributed extensively to the U.S. Women’s National Team, serving as an assistant coach since 2022 and helping the team reach the knockout stage at the 2023 FIFA World Cup. She continues in that role under head coach Emma Hayes, including participation in recent international camps and the 2026 SheBelieves Cup.
