ORLANDO – After making an appearance in the championship match for the second straight season, three Knights have been named to the Big 12 All-Tournament Team as announced by the conference on Wednesday afternoon.

Jantje Tilbuerger and Marina Gatell delivered a standout weekend for the Knights, earning their place as the Court One All‑Tournament Team after going a perfect 2-0 in doubles play. The pair posted identical 6-4 wins against BYU and TCU, helping UCF secure the doubles point in both matches.

Their most dominant performance came in the finals against TCU, where they controlled the match from the opening serve, but their tournament began with a very different script. In Thursday’s opener against the Cougars, Tilbuerger and Gatell fell behind 3-1 before mounting an impressive rally, winning five of the next six games to close out a 6-4 victory and clinch the first doubles point of the event.

Olivia Bergler earned the Knights’ lone All‑Tournament singles honor with her performance on court two. Across three days of competition, the sophomore dropped just 18 total games, dominating both her quarterfinal and semifinal matches before her finals contest went unfinished.

She opened the weekend with a commanding win over BYU’s Kendall Kovick, cruising to a 6-2, 6-3 victory. Bergler carried that momentum into the semifinal against Arizona, stepping up at a crucial moment after the Knights fell behind 2-0 early. Her 6-4, 6-2 win on court two put UCF on the board and sparked a comeback that paved the way for three straight victories from her teammates, sending the Knights into the championship match.
