ORLANDO — The UCF Men’s Basketball team has added Cayden Vasko to the 2026-27 roster, announced Monday afternoon. Coming off an All-SoCon Third Team honor at Wofford this past season, Vasko brings impressive control on the offensive-end, entering the 2026-27 season as one of the nation’s best ball security playmakers.

Vasko is a true Iron Man, never missing a single game through his three years in College Basketball. Playing in 95 games, Vasko has started in 94, showcasing an extraordinary level of endurance to consistently compete at the highest-level.

This past season at Wofford, Vasko averaged 10.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. Vasko led the Terriers at the free throw line, shooting an 80% clip. Leading Wofford with 131 assists, Vasko posted a phenomenal assist-to-turnover ratio of 3.85, ranked fifth in the nation.

The Lowell, Indiana native started his first two seasons at Central Michigan, averaging 5.7 points, four rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game with the Chippewas. Prior to playing at the Division I level, Vasko graduated from Lowell High School, playing one postgraduate season at the Don Bosco Institute in Crown Point, Indiana.
