ORLANDO – The UCF rowing program has reached another milestone, earning a program‑best No. 11 ranking in the latest CRCA poll.
The Knights continue their upward trend after previously setting a program high at No. 12 just two weeks ago.
The rise comes on the heels of three consecutive race weekends in which UCF secured first‑place finishes across all events.
The stretch began at the Jacksonville Dual, where six UCF boats crossed the line first. The momentum carried into the Sarasota 2k, where the Knights swept every heat and advanced all boats to the Grand Finals, completing another clean sweep the following day at Nathan Benderson Park.
Most recently, UCF traveled to the Buckeye State for the Ohio State Invite and again posted a perfect outing, winning every race it entered.
The Knights now shift their focus to the inaugural Orlando Invite, the first regatta of its kind to be held on Lake Pickett. The eight‑team field includes five ranked programs in addition to UCF. The Knights lead the group at No. 11, followed by No. 13 Alabama, No. 14 Duke and No. 15 Miami. Penn and Oklahoma round out the ranked competitors at No. 19 and No. 24 respectively.
UCF will close out the regular season with a one‑day regatta against No. 6 Princeton and No. 19 Penn in Princeton, N.J.
