ORLANDO – No. 19 women’s tennis has been awarded a Big 12 victory after No. 31 Oklahoma State forfeited Sunday’s match due to an insufficient number of available players. The match was slated for 12 PM EST, April 5, at the USTA National Campus in Orlando.
With the forfeit, the Knights improve to 15-3 overall and 8-2 in Big 12 play, while the Cowgirls drop to 8-9 overall and 6-4 in conference action.
UCF’s senior celebrations, originally planned to take place before the Oklahoma State match, have been rescheduled for Friday, April 2. The ceremony will now precede the Knights’ matchup against Kansas State, which will serve as the team’s home finale.
