LAS VEGAS, Nev. The UCF Women’s Golf team secured their second victory of the 2025-26 season by 13 strokes with a two over-par 866.

After a slow start in the first round, the Knights placed sixth, shooting 16 over-par. UCF dominated the final two rounds, finishing under par in both, the only team to record an under par round from the entire invitational.

The Knights hit the jackpot in Vegas, with every player placing in the top 20 of the invitational, with three members in the top five.

Mila Jurine also finished in second, posting one under-par 215. Jurine is one of three players in the entire invitational to end the match under par. Jurine recorded 13 birdies and earned her fourth top five finish of the season.

Pimpisa “Sandwich” Sisutham finished fourth place at even-par 216. Sisutham posted an eagle in round three and tallied eight birdies. Sisutham achieved her 12th top five finish of her collegiate career.

Molly Smith placed fifth shooting one over-par 217. After a five over-par outing in the first round, Smith fired off a three under-par performance in round two followed by a one under-par showing in the third round to earn the eighth top five performance of her career.

Freshman Kinga Kusmierska landed the best finish of her first year at 15th, shooting six over-par (222), nabbing 10 birdies in the invitational.

One Kashima placed 19th posting eight over-par 224, highlighted by a one under-par outing in the second round to propel UCF to the front of the leaderboards.

UCF outperformed five Big 12 opponents in the process: No. 33 Houston by 20 strokes, #28 Oklahoma State by 28 strokes, BYU by 61 strokes, and #44 Texas Tech by 69 strokes.

The team victory in Las Vegas cashed out the second tournament win of the season for the Black and Gold, last accomplished during the 2023-24 campaign.

The Knights seek to carry the winning momentum to Kiawah, S.C. Mar. 16-17 to compete in the Briar’s Creek Invitational at Briar’s Creek Country Club.
