ORLANDO – The men’s tennis team has jumped back to No. 9 in the latest ITA rankings after delivering a dominant sweep over FAU last week.

The Knights have hovered between No. 8 and No. 10 for much of the season, inching up one spot from last week’s No. 10 position to rejoin the top 10. UCF has not dropped outside of the top 15 all season long.
The Black and Gold now sit firmly near the top of the Big 12, trailing only TCU (7) while leading a strong conference field that includes Baylor (10), Arizona (15), Arizona State (17), Oklahoma State (34), BYU (56) and Texas Tech (72). With all but one Big 12 program represented in the top 75, the league continues to reinforce its reputation as one of the deepest and most competitive conferences in collegiate tennis.
In singles, the Knights maintain two nationally ranked players. Yassine Dlimi made one of the week’s biggest jumps, soaring more than 30 spots to No. 83. Wissam Abderrahman remains a steady presence in the rankings, holding firm at No. 74.
