ORLANDO – The UCF Rowing team slots in at No. 14 on this week’s CRCA Coaches Poll, matching a program-high cumulative team ranking.

The poll position comes following a season-opening sweep against Jacksonville on home waters of Lake Pickett last Friday.
The last time the Knights were ranked as high as No. 14 was the week following the historic Big 12 Championship sweep in Sarasota, Fla. The ranking preceded yet another history-making moment for the Black and Gold as they achieved a team finish of 15th at the NCAA Championships.
In this week’s poll, the Knights are the only representation from the entire Big 12, continuing a trend that began last season.
There are a surplus of future opponents on the 2026 racing schedule that appears in this week’s rankings. From the Orlando Invite alone, there are a total of five programs that file into the top 25 including Penn at No. 16, Duke at No. 17 Miami at No. 19, Alabama at No. 23 and Oklahoma at No. 24. Other opponents the Knights will face this season include Princeton (6) and Ohio State (21).
LOOKING AHEAD
Up next on the Knights’ slate is the Sarasota 2k on March 27-28 where UCF will look to defend it’s Benderson Cup title from the 2025 season.
