ORLANDO, Fla. – UCF men’s basketball delivered the most successful ticket sales campaign in program history during the 2025-26 season, highlighted by record-setting fan support at Addition Financial Arena and culminating with the Knights earning an at-large berth in the 2026 NCAA Tournament.
The Black and Gold generated the highest season ticket revenue in program history while also recording the largest single-game ticket revenue total ever, representing a 91 percent increase in single-game revenue from the previous season.
The strong financial performance reflects the continued growth of the program and the passionate support from Knight Nation throughout the season.
“This season’s record-setting ticket performance is a testament to our team’s success on the court, as well as the incredible support from Knight Nation and the outstanding work of our ticket sales and service and brand experience teams to create an exciting game-day atmosphere,” said Adam Haukap, Chief Revenue Officer for UCF Athletics.
The 2025-26 season included two of the three highest-grossing single games in UCF men’s basketball history, underscoring the demand for Big 12 basketball in Orlando.

The fan energy inside Addition Financial Arena matched the excitement on the court. UCF posted a 13-5 home record, highlighted by signature victories over Kansas, Texas Tech, Cincinnati and TCU.
The Knights’ successful season carried into March, as UCF (21-11) earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament, marking the program’s sixth NCAA Tournament appearance since joining Division I in 1984-85 and the second at-large selection in program history.
UCF will head to Philadelphia as the No. 10 seed and face No. 7 seed UCLA (23-11) on Friday, March 20 at Xfinity Mobile Arena. The matchup will mark the first meeting between the Knights and Bruins. The winner will advance to face the winner of No. 2 seed UConn and No. 15 seed Furman.
The 2026 appearance also represents UCF’s first NCAA Tournament berth since 2019, when the Knights came within seconds of defeating No. 1 seed Duke.
With record-breaking support at the gate and a return to the NCAA Tournament, the 2025-26 season stands as one of the most successful and impactful campaigns in UCF men’s basketball history.
