ORLANDO – The UCF men’s soccer team has unveiled its 2026 spring schedule, highlighted by four home matches and five in-state opponents spanning multiple levels of play.
The Black and Gold commence their spring slate at Osceola Heritage Park against Orlando City B on Feb. 18, at 7 pm. The MLS Next Pro side finished the 2025 season 11th in the standings, picking up 37 points in 28 league contests. The match will serve as a pre-season test for the Lions, who kick off league play on March 2, and as a good challenge for the Knights versus an MLS Next Pro squad.
The Knights then travel north to take on familiar foes, the Jacksonville Dolphins. UCF recently defeated JU 2-0 in a fall 2025 non-conference contest on Sept. 11, thanks to a Jem Hewlett brace in Orlando. The Dolphins finished the season 6-7-5 and were eliminated in the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament semifinals by top-seeded Bellarmine. The match is scheduled for Feb. 28, at 3 pm.
The 2026 spring home opener will take place on March 6 at 4 pm on the Knights’ practice field against Palm Beach Atlantic. The Sailfish, a top D2 side, finished the 2025 fall regular season 13-1-2, clinching a Sunshine State Conference regular season championship and earning a #1 seed in the D2 NCAA Tournament Super Region 2.
After an extended break, the Knights face the Stettson Hatters on March 29 at 3 pm at the UCF Soccer Complex. The Black and Gold recently faced the Hatters in a preseason exhibition before the 2025 fall season. UCF holds a 9-2-2 record in official games over the Hatters dating back to 2006.
The Knights will then close the spring calendar with a non-traditional gameday format on April 11. The Black and Gold will take on the D2 NCAA Tournament finalist, Rollins Tars, at 12 pm, followed by a matchup with NJCAA D1 semifinalists Daytona State Falcons at 1:30 pm. The Tars and Falcons will then face each other at 3 pm. All three games will take place at the UCF Soccer Complex.
